SOG Multi-Tool  
I purchased this tool about a month ago and have not been disappointed. I work in as a mechanic in the marine construction field and this tool definitely sees its fair share of use and abuse. The build quality and design of the pliers have stood up to things that would have weakened lesser tools (leatherman and Gerber both of which I have owned). The assisted opening of the 2 knife blades is a definite plus. All it takes is one hand to deploy them and alot of times you only have one hand available. The only real issue I have with them is the V cutter hangs up on the can opener but thats a minor inconvenience. All in all I would highly recommend this product to anyone who needs a high quality multi-tool that can stand up to rigorous use. : 2010-09-15 03:59:38

SOG high quality & reliable multi tool  
Throughout the past few weeks I have put this multi tool right to work. First off the blades being accessable from the tool right out of the pocket case is a fantastic feature. Apply some pressure to the thumb stud & *snap* out comes the blade. Blades were both razor sharp right out of the box. Ive used the file to remove burrs from metal cabinet edges the file has worked flawlessly. The pliers have excellent clamping force & the wire cutters have zero problems cutting thick wire. With a flick of the wrist you can access the pliers out of the case using one hand - something my leatherman would never do. Another nice feature is that the pliers remain open when the tool is nearly closed allowing you to use the pliers in very tight spaces. I did rearrange the tools so the V-cutter would not catch on the can opener. Not a big problem for me. I dont know why some reviewers say that the power assist feature doesnt always work because it has worked flawlessly for me. You need to realize that : 2010-09-15 03:59:38

Great multitool  
This tool is awesome. I use this tool daily sometimes I do not put it down. I also use this for hunting and fishing and it has really neat tools that you will find useful. The design of this tool is great the knives are on the outside of the handles so you do not have to open up the handles to use them and the PowerAssist is wonderful. The tools are interchangeable to suit your needs. The v-cut is real handy. The only issue that I have had that bothers me is the cover over the tools comes off. Seems like it should be put on with some sort of fastener instead of little dimples. I might end up just taking it off for good. Very awesome tool!!!! Rock Solid Larger Multi-Tool with Locking tools!!  
This is great and worth the higher price. Not sure how to replace the blades yet but I am sure it is easy. 5 stars for sure. Safer to use than most knives b/c of the PowerLock?? feature. Larger than other multi-tools. If the Gerber-suspension-Butterfly-Opening-Multi-Plier tool was larger that is the better tool. But it is really too small for real use. The pliers on this knife are geared to advantage so you can get much more torque!
